I’m a copywriter by trade and have been ever since putting pen to paper became more fun than putting bat to ball.
I graduated in Journalism from Staffordshire University in 2007 and have worked in everything from B2B marketing to straight-up advertising ever since.
Currently, I’m part of the Experience team at Great State, working as Senior Copywriter and Brand Guardian on the Royal Navy account. It’s not all plain sailing, but it’s pretty good fun.
I like writing funny copy more than anything else. That’s probably why I do an agency roast at the Great State Christmas party every year. My mum thinks I’m Tommy Cooper reborn. I’m not, but it’s the only endorsement I’ve got.
